Greetings,

I'm about to order a new server for my win2000-based web application. =
Wondering what i get with ordering a Xeon processor over a normal P4 =
processor? What does Xeon give to my server that a normal P4 with the =
same or better specs doesn't? Any related info on choosing a processor =
for the server would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
yt

Well, since you have several P4 based Xeon cores, what Xeon gives you
basicaly is:

a) SMP support
b) additional cache (Gallatin core)

*Possibly* better chipset, but that is questionable.
